Shame we cant all have a car as fast as snoops!

its a shame we are not all as honest about our cars as some are. some people are realistic about what their car can do and are happy with it rather than make big claims that the honest amongst us see through really very clearly.

as a side note i overtook a 2.0T A3(197bhp) today and he also stamped on it as i pulled out entering a dual carriageway at about 20mph and he didn't get level with me until about 1/4 mile later and an indicated 85mph ish and i was very happy with this indeed as i hope i ruined his day as he couldn't count me as a kill in my silly little black piece of crap with a loud exhaust

for the record i never pulled away from him, i didn't kill his car i never infact got past him, the furthest i got was my rear wheels level with his fronts but hey for a 21 yearold car that cost me £450 i think i did quite well

john, your car is not faster than a 330D that is being driven in the same vein as you and yours. but obviously if they don't start to give it beans until 2 or 3 seconds after you they probably won't be sailing past you but would keep up easily but at the same time if one jumped on you when your ready you and your car wouldn't stand a chance.

put both your car and a 330D on a track/airfield/drag strip and everyone knows whats going on and in the same mindset and you will see the difference.

and yours will not be faster than a standard type R let alone a properly modified one but again jumping on one when your in the perfect gear at the perfect revs and passing him when he is simply driving normally is not a win.

This is what everyone means about dillusional fabia drivers. John grant has pretty much a standard car with a remap, yet can beat anything he races. Even modded Type-R's without racing them. Fantastic!

btw a 330D is 227bhp and 369lbft standard and does gets to 60 in 6.5s, not bad at all
