anyone?

If it's an AUQ code it's the same as your a 180. If it's a BAM code it's a 225

anyone?

Jesus give us a chance !!!!!!!!!

You only posted 7 minutes ago,

difference : about 45 BHP!

my mate has the 225 and he loves it - he said he had the lower one (1.8 engine?) and he said it wasnt as good, but just as stylish...

personally, if youve got the choice, go for the more powerful.

the 150 180 and 190 engines are all the same. they may have different engine codes but the main components will be the same. all 3 engines remap to about 205-210bhp

the 210, 225 and 240 have a bigger turbo and injectors than the lower-powered engines.. and remap to about 260bhp

As far as the TT goes, the lower power models only have 1 exhaust, so they stand out.

if he wanted a TT and wanted it to go fast but cant afford the 225, the low-spec FWD-only model is lighter enough to be just as quick as the 180-190 with quattro,

remapped it will ruin them and a standard 225.

Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. As far as I'm aware, Audi didn't put the 210 engine into the TT after trying it with the S3. Only the 225. Also, there is no standard 240hp TT engine. Again, they don't remap to 260, that is the old wild claim from Revo.

Audi put the 210 engine in the S3 so i didnt detract people from the 225 TT so yea it never went in the TT but most 210 engine came out at about 225 anyway

Really? Any chance you could show me some graphs from 210 cars please. All the ones I've seen struggle to make the deadline figure of 210 :)

Wrong wrong wrong wrong... the runout Mk1 TT quattro sport was 240bhp. Over time the TT had the following engines;

150, 180, 190, 225, 240 and 250 (3.2) with anything less than 225bhp being FWD.

Edit .... later 180/190 had a 4WD option (oops just check audi docs I have)

Could you not get the 180 and 190 with 4wd?

Copy and paste, hope it helps a little

I dont have any graphs ive just been going off what quite a few people have said on vag20 and seatcupra

Ok, Although this thread is about Audi TT'.s

Never listen to what's been said, best to see it happen for real. I still cannot find any. I've seen one on a reputable rolling road hit 262 .. (Well, I've seen the graph) and that had a lot of modifications done, FMIC, Intake, Exhaust etc.

yea i know what your saying but its like anything else the dyno lottery can always come into play

the FWD TT was the run out. I've never heard of the 240bhp 1.8T until today but its listed on parkers.

Shame we cant all have a car as fast as snoops!

Worry about me later, change your profile settings, it's saying that a remapped Fabia is faster than a 330d. :)

Bengie, I never heard of the 240 one either. I'd presume it may be a different turbo again. K04s?

never heard of a 240 either, never looked into it tho, isn't the s3 260bhp with the 1.8t or is that the new one with 2.0tfsi?

The 240bhp was the final special edition 1.8t engine'd TT before the Mk2 was produced.

Its offical name was the TT Quattro Sport. It was lightened, has unique bucket seats, removed the rear seats altogether and the battery was moved to the back. It also had a black roof and the body styleing from the 3.2

Audi TT Coupe 1.8 T quattro Sport (240 PS)

I've driven one round silverstone, and out of all the engines, this is the best.

That's the new 2.0 TFSI

That's the new 2.0 TFSI
ahhh now i see,thanks:D

Yup... The 240 TT quattro sport does exist.. as said above it was the run-out SE model, slightly tarted up and stripped out..

IIRC the Audi A4 "dtm" special edition uses same engine...

EDIT.. im lying about the DTM ed, thats 220bhp and uses the TFSI
