auroan, i was thinking much the same but in the long run the VRS is a car i want to keep for awhile, Hopefully ill be here to stay! Never see the point in leaving somewhere with a wide collect of knowledge and ideas.

Yes, I agree totally,as usual when using forums there is the possibility that someone, on the forum is up to no good, but in this case it did not appear quite like that, ambe someone's got a sore head! Oh, and oilburninnut's chips look a bit pale! - good looking brown sauce though!

To be honest all the bloke is saying is if you look at this car be very careful to check it all out.

No repair, only owner and filler marks/dull paint don't add up to me either.

thats just it, be really careful looking around its now off autotrader and pistonheads so maybe he has taken it off the market but it doesnt mean it wont come back out!

Totally agree . The way I look at it is that forums are like any other 'community' of people - there will always be a mix of personalities and statistically, there will always be one or two complete a***holes.

Chances are, some of them are probably quite polite and amenable in person but once they're hiding behind a keyboard in their bedroom they become very big men. As above, just blank them, they only come here to feed on negative reactions.

Keyboard warrior wasnt to you, but i have come onto this site to share knowledge and info on a car i have seen thats not right!

If you read the thread you will see that im going to see another car, not with my mate from the vag specialist, thus i dont know where the ecu port is, he is now flying to new york so cant really phone him!!

Why would i take someone that doesnt no more than me? dont make sense! Also a vag specialist that doesnt have a clue where the ecu port is? how would they be a specialist?
