Anyone want a Fabia SE

Featured Replies

Hi,

Well I was at my local dealers and they have a Fabia SE with about 5'500 miles on it on the forecourt.

Since I know some people are trying like mad to get their hands on one, drop me a PM and I will send you the dealers details if you want.

Ta

there's one in Capitol, Newport too (£12,995 afaik)

I dunno advertising or something, I can never tell what the rule are on some things so play it safe :)

Well I saw a thread where two people were fighting over one and a third put the deposit down on it and beat them to it.

So if those two people see this thread they can have another fight and let two other people buy them first

I paid less than that for a new one!

Quite likely, but for some reason they are in demand so the dealers are doing them at list, list or list.

You might be able to talk dealers down a bit on the advertised prices, I can never tell on SE's.

Is the CD changer standard on the SE by the way?

can't believe these things are still going for new money:eek:

its a skoda for gods sake, and lets be fair, not THAT special

i admit i do like mine, but would have liked a non se just as much.

It's ok I don't get it either, I got somebody a great discount on a new fabia in black, he moved his leather over and had all the other options except for sunset glass for a hell of a lot less than that.

However some people on here want them, so figured I'd post

can't knock folk for wanting them, they are very nice, but i think the stealers may be engineering the high prices, and not just on the se,i've seen some 55 platers on the forcourt well north of 10k,which tbh is taking the p*ss.

not really... it means our cars are holding their value, which is a good thing!

this is true, i've had mine 5months and the dealers are buying it back at a good price so i haven't lost that much on it at all, i've only really paid the interest on the finance agreement.

we have an SE in our household aswell so its nice to know its not losing any value in a hurry.

i agree its good fr us who have one,bad if you are wanting a nearly new one.

The thing is, you can not buy a NEW vrs anymore,

People want a VRS and would like new or best to new as possible, so dealers and private sellers can ask their price

It was I who saw an unadvertised VRS on the forecourt, with three within an hour wanting it and whilst two were arguing the other had slapped down the deposit ;-)

I do believe there is a point though where you draw the line ie a good second hand SE at x pounds or a new Golf at the same pounds

(Golf excuse the ignorance I have not a scooby do the equivalent vw is)

Personally I would go for a good Secondhand SE If one was around up here, as there will be no new VRS until 2009, and my 04 is getting old

Oh merry Crimbo by the way, I am not out and about as I am assembling grand kiddies cycles

Hope I make a better job than I did twenty years ago when the Cindy houses had Ivy and Roses growing up the living room walls, a fireplace, and kitchen sink on the outside walls ho ho ho

Well it was 02:00 after some sherberts

Jimbo aka NATIONAL

No 173 was at Meadens from new, , I remember mentioning it before when it was originally for sale and someone said they had bought it on here! Why they only had it for a few months I don't know!

Yep, I saw it in the showroom, so was a bit surprised to see it on here.

Have to say every time I've been down there it has been there, so if the person on here had it, they must have literally had it for days. Either that or changed their mind and never collected it.
