Hello all.

I have just purchased myself a 52 plate (my03) Octavia VRS estate with 62,000 in silver.

Most expensive car I have ever purchased, so I hope it turns out to be a good buy and not a goodbye to my bank balance!

I will be looking to indulge in some sensible mods - performance remap, strut brace, dump valve, induction, that sort of thing. Does anybody think that the car's mileage will be an issue in any of the above?

I obviously have many more queries, but will leave those until I have trawled other sections - nothing worse than a newbie asking questions that have been asked umpteen time previously!

So, any offerings of advice will most gratefully received!

If it's been serviced correctly you'll have no probs.

Check to see if its had the waterpump done because there common for going.
