New Black 04 Octavia VRS HAPPY Owner!

Featured Replies

Hey guys i've just got my self a 04 reg black Octavia VRS and all i can say is what a car it is!!

I've allways been into the VW scene, owning a Mk 1 Golf, Mk2 Golf GTI, as prices went up on these dropped to Seat, owning a Mk2 Seat Ibiza 1.4 CL, Mk2 Ibiza 2.0 GTI Cupra Sport (Kiwi Green :)) then came my boy racer phase!!!

I also currently own a MK2 Rev 2 MR2 Turbo which was initially bought for road use but as time went by (and i realised that there was no way i wanted to put up with the fuel costs and servicing costs!!!) the car has become a project for me - focusing purely on the engine side, not slapping plastic on here and there :thumbdwn:.

So the car has been put to bed for the winter time - kinda sad i know but im totally obsessed with cars!!!

Anyway..

The first runabout i bought was a Skoda Felicia and although it wasn't the best looking car it was bomb proof!!! This gave the car a type of cult status between all my mates as there cars were breaking down or generally deteriorating BUT the trusted Felicia just kept on going and going...

My dad has always gone on about Skoda this and Skoda that after VW came on the scene so ive always looked at the Fabia VRS and Octavia VRS. He even bought him self a Octavia VRS MK1 so i got to test drive it!

I did, and when i got home took the lone out to buy one!!

So here i am! Im not wanting to modify the car in anyway - bar changing the sound system, reason being the cd changer isn't the best as it doesn't read new cd's very well but im really hopeing that the car serves me as well as the trusted Felicia!

The car itself is fantastic to drive, looks excellent from all angles and i love the interior. Kinda strange to have cream carpets but i even like them!!! The ride is smooth and you have power when you need it!! Hey i even love the badge on the steering wheel!!

All in all it's a great car!!

Good to meet you all!

Cheers

Pete
