ESP snow, ice boxing day.

Featured Replies

Hi

Boxing day snow driving 4x4 down by a local lake. : With ESP , EDL, TCS etc , tyres Pirelli Winter Carving ( no studs) on ice covered roads -5, wife's only gripe was when she got out ,and slipped completely over, landing on her back. Verdict : must buy some decent shoes. In snow as in photo's , our dog thought his walk was shorter than usual due to our playing at amateur rally driving.:thumbup: Happy boxing day to all.:)hr_skoda_lake2.jpg

That looks colder than -5 :rofl:

Nice pics :thumbup:

The snow looks beautiful! Impressive icicles on the car too.

It's sunny and warm here :sofahide:

Heavy snow? WTF's that??? :rolleyes::D

Smart 'winter' dog too! What breed?

I want snow and I want it now !!!!!!!

Where abouts is that lake?

My daughter is over from Miami Beach and is shivering in her boots (and that is at +6 degrees - no ice!!! )

Hi

Our dog is a flat black coated retriever/ Collie and likes to swim in this lake. Lake is at Cici nr Velika Gorica close to Zagreb Croatia, temps of -8 are pretty normal, but you can also expect -20, and of course we have ski resorts on higher reaches on Zagreb Mountain. We have antifreeze for -40 in the Octy, and snow can stay for well into new year. Thank you for your comments glad you like the pics.

Fantastic pics - we haven't had a decent amount like that in south east England for years. Very envious!

How did the car handle - did the EDL, TCS and ESP kick in very often? I have the 2WD version, and the ESP light has only kicked in once, giving it full throttle in 2nd gear on a roundabout!
