Advice needed : Potenza RE720's or Pirello PZero Nero's

Changing the tyres today on my RS. Hate the Dunlop SPSport2000's that came with it. They are only half worn now but very noisy. RS by the way came with 16' alloys (6.5 rim) and 205/55/16 tyres (W rated).

Anyway my local tyre kicker has Pirelli PZero Neros (Y rated) in 205/55 and Bridgestone Potenza RE720's (W rated) in the same size. The Pirelli are around 140 euros a pop, the BStones about 125

Which provide better grip, and are quieter and last longer. Going to get them today.

By the way, would the 6.5" Skoda alloy take a 225/50 instead of a 215/55 ?
