I have noticed that if you build your own Octavia L&K from the Skoda site, they charge £350 for metallic paint, but in the brochure metallic paint comes as standard over the Elegance! My dealer tried to charge me for metallic paint, despite me pointing out twice what it says in the brochure. I eventually received a refund from them.

they clearly dont read or know their own products, thats one of the things i always point out of the l and k's.

what engine etc did you go for in the car?

I noticed this yesterday too. My dealer tells me that metallic paint is a no cost option on L&K models though.

I suspect that the Black Magic Pearl is a cost option though! Anyone know for sure?

I thought the L&K was in reality priced as a "bundled" package of a base model + all the options you get on an L&K. So some dealers might show you the price of the metallic paint because it's an "extra" on the base model or might not show the price if they start from the already built-up L&K spec.
