Here comes the question i just cant answer why do you get a plastic bag to put over the rear window wiper.

Sorry if this is a stupid question i just cant think of any answer

Regards Whoosh:confused:

What's a car wash?

The pastic bag is to stop the rear wiper getting rip off (i think)

Never used one of them there car washes, all the disclaimer signs are enough to put me off ;)

I've only ever used it when i've had a car that isn't mine and has to be returned fueled and clean.

I'd guess it stops the brushes getting tangled in the wipers holes, but never seen on and would never use such a car was for my own car.

Probably for you to throw up in after the car wash has wrecked your paintwork,

Yup - and they'll put one on each of the front wipers too if they don't sit below the level of the bonnet.

Chris

Maybe it was to protect their car from the flying molten rubber from you blowing your tyres up.lol

i saw a rear wiper bag being given to someone the otherday, and could only conclude it was to stop the brissles getting caught in the wiper assembling and pulling it off.

Use a power wash instead at garages at least your in control of everything.

or a nice bucket of warm water at home :-)

Balls to car washes, can't remember the last time I used one

Might as well be blindfolded and use a pressure washer with a nylon brush attachment - it will achieve the same result

Ive seen a 'brushless' one near here, I wondered how it worked.

Pressure and detergents and a Traffic Film Remover, followed most likely by an f off great hair dryer for cars.

drive through car wash.............

come on surely you arent that lazy even a half ar*ed wash takes 10 minutes max

never using one again, i used one recently and it left blobs of wax all over the car. it also left a greasy film all over the car i had to pay twice the price of the wash to remove!

:finger: shell garage, :finger:
