Burnout Paradise - PS3

Featured Replies

The demo for this game has been available on free download for quite a few weeks now. the full game is released at the ened on January.

It's chuffing great! i was a fan of Burnout Legends on the PSP and spent literally hours perfecting the best way to smash into the most cars in the world.

Burnout Paradise (demo) is most commendable as it's one of the few demos that includes online play. you can either just race around and get points for doing crazy stunts, have an online mellee taking other players oot for the hell of it, or complete team challenges with the rest of the online players.

I love it and will be buying the game when it comes out.

Bet ya I get it first :rofl::rofl:;)

Have you tried any of the other burnout series ?

Only Burnout Legends and Dominator on the PSP, Legends was far better than Dominator though.

Tis a shame you can't blow yr car to smithereens after crashing on the PS3 version though, I miss that feature.

Try out some of the previous ones, Burnout 3: Takedown is widely considered the best in the series, :cool:with Revenge in a close second. ;)

I'm sure we can meet online when it is finally released, for a blast.

Well I bought the full game a couple of weeks after it came out and I'm totally addicted. I would go so far as to recommend it to Xbox 360 users as well, although they probably don't know what "recommend" means as it's a big word!

What's amazing is that you can speed at warp factor 10 from one side of the city to the other with no slowdown in framerate, no "pop up" scenery, and no breaks for loading times, it's really smooth.

I'm still finding little secrets to keep me interested, and the online features can suck you in for hours at a time, especially the team challenges.

I don't think I've ever spent (or wasted) so much time playing one game. (apart from Burnout Legends of course!)

Top game, totally addicted right now. 23 away from the Elite licence. Not quite as addictive as Mario Galaxy but it's not far off. I've always been an avid fan of the Burnout games right from the original PS2 title and it's come a long way since

And yes, the scenery is totally amazing and is always there, you can see mountains and bridges from miles away.

Look out for me online :D :revs:

I have Paradise on 360, top game and the online matches with Bengie get quite violent at times..lol
