I want some unlocks - can they be done?

Featured Replies

Hi all

After hearing that some features can be unlocked by the VAGCOM system, i decided there were a few things i would like on my Octavia vRS TDi, namely;

- 2nd Rear Foglight

- Anti-Hijack

- Auto Unlock (keys out of Ignition)

- Leaving/Coming Home Lights

And maybe anything else i can be tempted with...

Now, the question is, as i don't have Maxidot, can ALL of these things actually be done to mine and will they work properly?

Cheers in Advance :thumbup:

Yes they can be done through VAG-COM with the long coding helper IIRC :D

I also enabled my unlocking pips and changed my PDC beeps to make them easier to hear over music as the MFD2 doesn't mute itself.

Beware the second rear foglight can be temperamental on some models. You need to alter 2 values in the long coding.

yes as i had all these done on mine before i got maxidot installed.
