Hi everyone. Just got a Octavia vRS, 200bhp, Race Blue, 17", jumbo box, climate control, but apart from that standard.

Was wondering what mods anyone would suggest for someone new to the car and also with no experience of any mods!

Hi Moox, welcome to the forum.

There are posts galore on here about mods.

I had a mk1 which I had an APR ecu upgrade on, and carbon airbox.

My shiny, shiny new octy rs II is currently awaiting being run in and then will be having another APR chip programmed.

I prefer stealth mode at the mo, so not looking at re fitting the airbox again - its a universal model with fittings.

I would definately recommend a remap, it transforms the car.

what about lowering the suspension - reading a few threads it seems to improve the handling without compromising the ride quality. How much would one expect to pay for such things? (Like i said have no experience of mods!)
