Ooops there goes another Honda

Featured Replies

Driving home from work tonight, I had a car tailgate most of the way,

an H reg Honda Civic

At the dual carriage way he took off in a roar (I was not bothered I was just bimbling home) throaty loud exhaust growling, as he got alongside it growled more, then he got past and reduced to about forty max, with some strange noises, white smoke and at the next roundabout managed to get up to thirty, I did not want a race, or prove anything, so accepted it for about three minutes then took off past him, he never took chase and vanished in the distant rear

Do you think he did his gear in? :-) he and his girly both about eighteen looked well sad and the white exhaust smoke was something else

I thought it was a WWII destroyer leaving a smoke screen

I am happy in the VRS reasonably new, I would not attempt anything in an H reg car, anything older than ten years and I would be feared the wheels sheared off

Old fart National

head gasket or engine failure methinks

I would place bets on the head gasket :)

Aye, I'd agree. :) He's buggered it !

Or filled it with diesel by mistake

Same story here - bought it - hated it - sold it :D:D

some provocative comments up there - used to have a Honda motorbike (old 750cc) then swapped it for a Kawasaki Concours 1000cc.

Now all needs for speed satisfied by a Furby....Kinda sad eh?

Bas, getting on in life....

My Dad had a Honda accord 02 reg.

Not too bad to drive but not really as well designed as it could have been.

Only had it for 2 years sold it before it needed any major work doing though.

LMFAO at some of these posts about Hondas.

I used to drive a Honda - 1990 CRX ED9. Went like stink.

Excellent engine and gearbox but appalling bodywork. Paper thin and so prone to rust it was unreal. Had nice fluffy velour trim on the dash though.

T'was rust that killed it in the end. Sills went and a car wash ripped the rear spoiler off as the brackets had rusted through.

Haha! I was jokin guys!
