Another servicing post

Featured Replies

Hiya folks

I`m a self employed courier using mys vrs for work covering over 50k a year.

so i have a 55plate bought on 24k and now on 33k since november so i`m looking at the cheapest way to a)keep warranty b)get the car serviced i`m looking ant 5-6 oil changes per year which need to be as cheap as it can.

I`m thinking Kwik fit for oil and filter changes (I have a mate so will only charge £10-£15 if i supply bits)

So which oil do i get and what is the standard oil filter if i`m going to a factors. All the skoda dealers seem to be 20 miles in differant directions

cheers peeps

you do not have to get the car serviced at a franchised dealer under block exemption legislation BUT you will have to use genuine parts and have proof that the manufacturers servicing schedule has been strictly adhered to, that may rule kwik fit out I suspect.
