AMD and remapping... anyone had it done?

They have a spot on Saturday free cost is £399 all in... should i go for it? Is on my VRS btw!

I had mine remapped at AMD about 2 yrs ago,it made a big differance. Very pleased with there service. Go for it :rofl:

ive heard very good things about the AMD stuff, a local v.w nut had his 130pd bora remapped by AMD and said it made a huge difference :thumbup:

Guess it depends why you're choosing AMD and what you want from a remap. A custom map will always be better as it'll be tailored to where you want power and may prolong clutch life. A generic map is an easy way to get more power out of your car, but it might be setup for someone else's requirements :D

I got my AMD one-click generic map through a group buy on here sometime ago.

Although not the most powerful map it still puts a smile on my face.
