Just got back from a stag do in Bratislava (Slovakia). Anyway, as you can imagine there were tons of Skodas but I was surprised to see an Octavia TDi 4x4. Were these ever available in the UK cos I can't recall ever seeing any? :confused:

(BTW - Bratislava is a storming place with very cheap beer, good food and friendly people )

AFAIK, they haven't. If you do spot one - Stuart wants it!

It's available in LHD all over the continent, using the 100hp engine. (Seeing it merely uses the 100hp engine, would Stuart still want it? )

I saw a RHD one on the M25 a few weeks ago. White estate.

Its got to be a 130 but if the Factory start making it with the "new shape" dont rule it out in the UK, I gather there was quite a lot of demand for it in the current shape & Skud UK are aware of it, I just hope they listen !!

Yep there was plenty of demand alright... we wanted one but they could only offer us the 1.8T 4x4 which wasn't economic when doing over 25k mls a year. So we went for the furbie estate with TC and have so far found it almost as good (never failed to get across the Pennines yet, regardless of the weather).
