I'm looking around for a new Octavia Mk2 VRS in race Blue. One of my requirements is that it has maxidot fitted, but it appears that there are very few around that have this (2 on autotrader in blue and there 17k :eek:).

Can the maxidot system be installed by a dealer or is it factory only ? Was thinking I could get one wihtout it and have it fitted by a dealer if this is possible. Same with cruise control as these are the 2 must haves.

Dealer won't touch the MaxiDot retrofit but he will do the cruise.

Both have been retrofitted by people on this forum.

i personally would get it when you order it, but can be done at a later date via vrstu

Don't really want to buy a new one as Skoda have become too expensive in my opinion so it's 2nd hand or a different car :(
