New parts fitted with pics. Osram Diadem, front and rear mudflaps and door sills

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Have recently fitted some new little bits to my car.

Thought I would drop some pics on here just in case anyone was thinking of doing similar mods.

So, 1st things 1st. I was getting some nasty stone chips on the rear bumper just behind the rear wheel. I think the car originally came with rear mud flaps but the previous owner must of taken them off. So, I thought I might as well get the front set too. Its sure to stop plenty of crap from the road this time of year too!

They were super easy to do and cheap. The fronts were £15 and the rears were £10 from my local skoda dealer.

The other thing I have recently replaced were the front and rear indicator bulbs. I didn't like the fried egg look of the orange bulbs in the rear lights. I chose to go for Osram Diadems from Power bulbs, I like the weird blue/clear look of them. The front and rear sets with a free set of blue side lights was £20. Another really really easy job to fit!

Here is a pic of the rear.

The last little treat I got for my self was a set of v motorsport door sills. I got these from SKODA TUNING SHOP for Octavia, Octavia II, Fabia, Roomster, Superb, Felicia : Skoda Tuning = superskoda.com They took about a week to get here but were packaged nicely and were really easy to put on. And I think they look great.

All looks very good mate, love the door sill covers.... a very nice example of a Mk I VRS if ever a saw one

Looks nice!

I have those bulbs in the front indicators(I should get some for the rear)

I like the carbon bit on the door sills :)

I really like those tints! Seriously, why do I bother reading these forums. It gives me baaaad ideas! :D

How much were the tints?

I was looking at the sill protectors too from that place, £50 delivered ish? They look good.

Tidy mk1 there :)

ethos,

I'm really happy with the tints, I think it suits the car! They were already on there when I bought it, so I don't know how much they were tho.

To be honest, for all 4 sill covers I think they were about £80 delivered. But when I looked around these were by far the nicest. They need a better picture to be appreciated!

You don't know how funny it is that you said that. Because ever since I've seen some of your posts I've wanted the wheel covers and steering wheel caps. So I've been on to MAS to get me some. haha. Full circle!!!

Looking much smarter. Can I ask how much the front mudflaps were?

Very nice.

Really like the sill covers. Also the tints suit the car. hmmmmmm

Cheers

The front mudflaps were £15 from my local skoda dealer. They come with all the required fittings and seem to fit really securely!
