A16, Louth to Lincoln

Great road, as long as it's not the height of summer... in which case you'll get the oldies who've come to Skegness pottering around.

Great stretch over the Lincolnshire Wolds. Long down slops with perfect visibility and plenty of overtaking places (If necessary).

Don't remember if it's the A16, but there are some brilliant roads between Lincoln and Skegness! ;)

Heh, I took the A16 the other day from Boston - Grimsby... Lots of rolling hills, plenty of sweeping corners... Was pretty good :D

Lincoln to Mablethorpe is a fantastic run.

I've yet to do it in the vRS - just got to wait for 1 decent weekend B)

You have to watch out for the bikes in the summer though, as Cadwell Park is on that stretch.

Sorry to correct you but the road that goes from Lincoln to Skegness is the A158, and yes it is a great drive when there's not too much traffic. The A16 goes south from Grimsby, bypasses Louth and through Boston onto Spalding. In fact I think continues across to Stamford.
