Hi people, im new to the site and currently flashing ntl 255, and 250 modems.

im using a MAX232 Interface but stuck and i cannot access console. i press "P" within 2 seconds and it goes through but fails and states "console disabled by vendor" can anyone help me? i know you can enable it by lifting the chip and downgrading it to a v2 but i havn't got a chip reader or lifter!! please help!! thanks :)
