blue effect on dash board and dials

Featured Replies

wotcha peeps... Im swaning around in my Ccar (VW polo 1.4TDi:D SE, 07 plate) an Im getting ideas to use the theme in my new vRS...

Is this easy or is it worth getting it done when I have a custom install and custom interior ;):D

The illumination is surface mount LED's

Surface mount LEDs are easy to change provided that you can strip the unit down enough to access them and get replacements. Best tip for DIY/home removal is to use 2 soldering irons, one each side on the PCB pads then lift off the LED. Make sure that you get the polarity corect when re-fitting. The only down side to changing them is that the needles are red on the VW so it might look a bit odd.
