I have recieved the following email coupled with the fact that the Chapel house thread has been deleted from the dealers in NW page confirms that there is now no Skoda dealer in Wigan.

I didn't really go there as Parkside Bolton is closest to me.

This was just in case any Skoda drivers who visited Chapel House didnt know or were wondering why the dealership is empty.

We unfortunately recently took the decision to terminate the Skoda franchise located at our Wigan site.

The Suzuki franchise which shared the site was a satellite branch of the main St. Helens site, so the decision was taken to re-locate the Wigan Suzuki business to St. Helens and completely close down the Wigan site.

I noticed this yesterday when I went past.

I've just run a search on the Skoda website and apparently the nearest dealers to Wigan are in Eccles, Preston, Manchester, Liverpool and Blackpool.

Sod's law now dictates that mine will blow up next week...
