its £240 from a local performance store, I do like the Pipercross i had1 on my previous car. I've seen the £40 on ebay but I'm sceptical of them lol

Cheers

well its your money. i paid 140 quid for my injen RD from the states and im more than happy and injen are a very good brand

Where did u get ur injen from, was that including postage and how long did it take to ship, i like the ABD racing cai as well but same again i dont know how to order from the states

I got it off a us ebay company. the filter came to 100 quid then was about 35 postage. i think i had a little tax to pay too of 19 quid but still cheaper than most.

its designed for the passat 1.8t. which is the same as ours as is the golf etc

aii they both do the job as any other CAI.

There's a cheepy ome like that on ebay, it about 15miles up the road in Blyth so i might get that, if its chat i will buy a filter n stick it on the intake pipe.

  • 3 months later...

mate im about 5 mins futher up from blyth

The pipes on the eBay kits are probably ok, but I would replace the filter. I wouldn't trust that the filter included realy do it's job.
