Insurance renewal

Featured Replies

Just renewed my insurance and and well pleased.:D

The premium was only £270 fully comp with my modifications declared!

I went with NIG through Adrian Flux and they gave the best cover and quote by far!

Now that is impressive! :) Well done!

I've been with NIG for some years and found them very good. I pay more than that even for my ickle 1.4, so I reckon you dun good.

Elephant! £1300!! With declared modifications. Now that is day-light robbery!

Don't forget Quidco when you lot insure your cars. Free money.

im 27 with 4 yrs no claims, no mods at present to performance and have just agreed £247 for 12 months with Elephant, was really after cheap insurance for possible remap but elephant wouldn't entertain mods

I was with Elephant last year and they told me they can offer insurance with modifications. But they were nearly £200 more than NIG.

thats interesting, when i spoke to NiG they came back with a figure approx £450. i cannot justify the remap cost and insurance hike at5 the moment!!!

Maybe i will give them another call, thats much cheaper than iwas quoted!! Would love a remap but not prepated to not declaire it!!!!!

I am still awaiting a reply from Adrian Flux on a quote! How long does it normally take?

Mark

mine was instant over the phone and they were chasing me the next day with follow up calls

What constitutes 'Full' no claims? Five years?

I'm 31, in IT, with 3 years ncb and my best deal was £620 with Brentacre, although Adrian Flux were about the same (Brentacre had an 'up to 180bhp' policy which I liked, given that I'm now looking to remap).

I have ten years no claims bonus.

Ten???

Dammit, all that time I had a company car, I'm paying for it now :S

You just ask your ex company for a copy of insurance and your new private insurer takes it as no claims

ie I had thiryone years no claims

Though I found it difficult getting a copy of insurance from them as I told them to shove the job where the Sun don't shine

So am having to start with nil no claims, got to year three and I was hit and run

so back to square one again
