My car is a 2006 ( 55 Plate ) 2.0 Diesel Elegance

I have searched but cannot find much on up to date pricing for a dealer service.

My car is due its first variable service ( 2 Years )

I have been quoted about £250 from Palmers in Watford .

Is this a reasonable price ???

I know the oil costs a small fortune.

Perhaps we could have a sticky on service prices ??

I paid £165 for the variable service on my 2.0 PD TDI at MKG skoda in stevenage.

Ther only info I can give is my first Variable service on my 1.9 TDI Passat which is neither a Skoda or a 2l TDI but it would be much the same service I would have thought. I paid £185 and that was mian VW dealer.

Mine was about £200 give or take a few quid.

Skoda paid for the second one , but it would have been a similar price.
