Just want to say thanks to all members of this forum. You have been an invaluable source of knowledge and info well and above dealers!!!

When moding my car and just needing basic info it was easy and quick to use the forum, or as mr g often sauid, 'use the search button!' as i am sure he mumbled under his breath while typing!

My year of Fabia VRS ownership is at an end and i am picking up my Mazda 3 MPS aero this morning. THe Fab is a wicked car and imense fun to drive but job change has meant nmore power and less MPG can be afforded.

Yep I concur with all the above, Fabia Vrs was a brilliant car had it for nearly 3 1/2 years.

Had a focus st170 which did not last too long now with a Mx5- wicked car I have to say build and finish is superb. Do miss the torque of the PD130 engine though, and I still like the Octavia 2 Vrs (petrol) - so you never know.

forgot to say, I hope you can manage with only 280lb/ft of torque in the MPS

Will deffinately stay as a member on briskoda! After just one day and covering 75 miles in the MPS aero.....WOW! It it truly a monster, with the torque andf the bhp it is scary how quickly you reach a tonne and beyond! I went to 130MPH (As a one off;)) and i could have been going 50MPH. It is a solid faultless drive. Theer is scary power and pull in all gears and when the turbo kicks in it really is something special!! The standard eibach springs and Mazda sports dampers mean going round corners is a very planted afair. Very little body roll to mention. Again really have to check the spedo and often am amazed at the speed and ease it can handle bends!

Considering all this power is being driven through 2 front wheels, torque steer is almost non-egsistant...amazingly so. All the Mazda geeks...my hat is taken off to you!

Bad points...wing mirrors are tiny so visually hard to see trafic behind you and MPG as expected is well...Shi*e...but was expected!
