Can't wait till tomorrow!

Featured Replies

Well, at 8am tomorrow morning i will be heading over to Silverstone to get the Fabia lowered on Weitec coilovers, i'm thinking -30mm, then heading back home to get the VRS alloys fitted! YAY! I'll post pictures when i get a chance!

-Duggie!

bugger you could have had mine lol good luk mate hope it goes well get some pics up when your done

No need for Coilies at 30mm

Get it 60mm +

I went for the coilovers so that I could ajust the height when i wanted / needed too. Plus i've been told that coilovers give a far sportier drive... i'm not too worried about comfort.

u will when the kids come

The Eibach springs will drop a standard Fabia 30-40mm. I found 40mm a pretty decent drop handling and looks wise without making it too low that it scraped.

Sounds like a good day out :) Where's the work being done? Heard good things about the Weitecs...

As it isn't a vRS you don't have to worry so much about the low sump, so I'd start at 40mm personally :D

I'm sure you'll post some pics up when everything's fitted

I'm 18 and not planning on kids for 10 years or so yet...

The work is being done through a friend i work with, she used to work for a tuning company so has a few contacts in the trade and that's what takes me to silverstone... £100 for the fitting and a check of the car's suspension components.

wind em down, with my kw's on the handling has been a revelation, and its been over speed bumps and everything without scraping, don't know how much its been lowered by,60mm maybe but its bloody good:thumbup:

You'll also want to get it 4 wheel aligned if you don't want to be shelling out on tyres prematurely :o
