Skoda begin testing Fabia S2000

I admit I don't like the way that the frond end of the car seems about 3 feet wider than the width of the main part of it.

There is a reason for that though. The Fabia base car is quite narrow and in order to make it up to the maximum width allowable the wheel arches have to be flared like this. The original Fabia WRC was quite similar in that respect although not quite as aggressive!

This car is really growing on me, especially from the side and the rear. I think it proves there is nothing wrong wiith the basic shape of the Fabia, it just needs to be lower and wider. The S2000 looks nice and squat, like the original Fabia WRC which was probably the best looking WRC ever built.

Two videos from today's Fabia S2000 testing at Skoda's traditional test track at Bela pod Bezdezem, now resurfaced. Mr Kopecky behind the wheel.

Fabia S2000 sounds rather gutsy under accelleration, even bangs on gear change! I might be biased, but something tells me Skoda are going to get this one right. The car looks quite fast already.

gimme,gimme,gimme,hurry up skoda

nice.........

I must admit, it does seem to a bit quicker than the MG S2000, and the Toyota thingy, but i hope to hell that it comes out soon!!

Keep up the good work Skoda!
