Need to remove door card to access tweeters?

Featured Replies

Have a rattle from the passenger side and pretty sure its the aftermarket tweeter that's loose. Do I need to remove the whole door card to remove the tweeter grille or is it a matter of just giving it a yank?

Thanks for any advice :)

there are 3 clips holding the tweeter cover in, one is behind where the door card meets.

From experiance you can get the cover off, but it will break the botton clip.

The you can put it back on without the clip but if its like my passenger side will rattle even worse :thumbdwn:

the best way to do it is to remove the door card. they arent that hard to remove anyway ;)

I think you need to rotate the cover around the bottom clip, there is a cut out in the socket so you can turn the housing off of the clip with no need to remove it.

Just remove the doorcard though Bas, piece of cake. :)
