Mirrors and cig lighter socket

Featured Replies

After reading some posts on this thread if the Felicia has electric mirrors are they heated as well?

I have noticed that some plugs like that of my Garmin dont sit flush in the lighter socket. Is this a common Felicia issue?

The cig socket problem has happened to me too.

The plug will simply not sit in the socket.

Confess to have been too lazy to investigate any further....taking the central console to pieces to see if it can be rectified seems a bit of an overreaction!

I think it's one of the weaknesses of cig lighter sockets in general? If it stays in and powered anyway it's not much to worry about.

mirrors are meant to be heated and come on when the rear window heater is on. Mine don't work! However i think i will check these out to see if there is a seperate fuse as it was bloody freezing in newcastle this morning

Yes GLi, GLXi, and SLXi, all had heated mirrors. Mine mostly work, one is good, and one only heats the middle! A great tool though, when I de-ice the car, all I do is start it up, put the blowers on, heated windscreen (and mirrors) and de-ice the main screen and side windows. Brilliant tool.

Oh... i wonder if mine are heated!

Never thought they were but will give them a try next time im in the car.

The cigarette socket in mines is a bit rubbish.... pluges just dont seem to site properly in it... have thought about getting a new generic one from halfrauds or something.

The cigarette socket in mine isn't the best, though is far better than the one in my first Favorit!
