Felicia Pickup Exhaust?

Featured Replies

Hi All - Be gentle my first post as I`ve just joined after buying the vehicle in the title.

My problem is I can`t find a local parts/exhaust supplier (both national and independant) who will commit to ordering a centre pipe for a pickup. None of them have it listed in the parts catalogue and I`m trying to convince them it is the same for all the 1.3 engines. It`s got so bad I`m doubting myself now

I`ve trawled the forums and I`m now looking for a diffinitive answer. So come on brave people, put your head above the trench and tell me. Full vehicle details are an `R` reg 1998 Felicia Pickup 1.3 Mpi.....is it the same centre exhaust as the hatchback and estate (I know the back boxes are different).

Cheers :)

if i was you id just head dwn a scrappy an get the pipe of a scraped one, take it to ure local motorfactor place an get them to fit it if u didnt wana do it yaself bud.

an welcome on here! its a gr8 lil place!

No it is not the same as the hatch or estate. IIRC there is some one on ebay selling pickup exhausts

Thanks for all the replies.

The result was to phone the above people (JMButto) and ask what they had listed. It seems they only had one mid-section listed for the 1.3 engine from 1991 > 1999, so I found a friendly independant who would take the risk and order one.

Once up on the ramps it was obvious it was the right one and the old one on the pickup even had the same part number.

What differs on all the models (Estate/hatch/pickup) is the back box. The estate is slightly longer and the pickup goes over the axle not under it. However my pickup has the standard back box on it (after again matching the number on the fitted one with the Bosal catalogue) but someone has added a short curved pipe of about 8" to take it over the axle. A brilliant tip to save money and time, as the pickup back box is alot more expensive and harder to get.

So once again thanks to everyone and I can now turn the radio down, not having to drown out the drone :)
