I was on my private road last night and decided to see how quick the vRS goes in 3rd, so i nailed it and watched the needles spin. now i only took it to the start of the red lines at about 6.5K RPM and was hitting 100mph so my question is does the limiter kick in bang on 7K RPM where the red lines turn to a solid block or was i about there ? if not then i reckon 110mph would have been seen.

Also had some cheeky youth in a Lax Power style Astra (big daft bumpers and the loudest exhaust i've ever heard) give it some on a dual carridgeway so showed him the light..... the tail light that is !!!

118 is the max in 3rd

I've had 105 in 3rd, then got scared :eek:

I repeatedly smacked the limiter in third and fourth (138)

std rs will do 109/110 in third

at 7.5k it will do 118 at 8 about 126

so the limiter on the standard car is bang on 7 or is it 7.5 ??

i take it (ffelan) that yours at 7.5 / 8 is due to the remap and the moving of the limiter ?

std is bang on 7

cheers, dont really want to have it hitting the limiter if i can help it, not with the error code and warranty thing thats been mentioned...
