My Octavia VRS kangaroos a couple of times for about 100 metres when run from cold in this weather. There are no warning lights showing currently, is this normal for the car? Or is there a fault that may not have been detected?

Leave it idle till the revs drop to under 1k then try it.

Takes about 1 minute usually

Apologies of this is the wrong place to ask... please feel free to send me in the direction of anywhere more appropriate.. My '72 plate Mk IV is just coming up to 80k miles. I can't find a service schedule for the car, but hear rumours of a 40k DSG oil change... Can anyone point me in the direction of service schedules, please? And, as a follow up, my local dealer doesn't seem to have a briliant reputation, and to be honest I'm half inclined to look for an independent anyway; where's the be

So, Today we started installing and wiring the radar sensors. Since it's the facelift rear end, we installed the OEM bracket for the 2Q0 radar sensors. At the same time, we installed the tow hitch. The mechanical part is mostly finished; the cables are in the trunk and all that's left is to route and connect everything inside the car. Coding is also required, of course. A few photos.

Hello people, I got a 2011, VRS a few days ago. Primarily for a long trip. Seems decent so far, but I want to add power, music and just get things working. I have a few issues/questions. Hoping these are common and easy for experienced here, I have been trawling forum, maybe I have missed some stuff. The head unit did not display. The touch screen worked but there was no display.
