I have got to say I am very disappointed that such puerile and juvenile posting is going on in the Brisky pages. A few of you guys have gone right down in my estimation.

Please, it's like Mr G said did we really need all details on here. A simple white lie would more than suffice. It's a public forum, you would not walk into halfords and say "my wife got blood from her wotsits all over my seat have you got anything to shift it please mate" would you, so why inflict it on me. Then to go on about how thick it is comes across as odd/sick. Or he's winding us up in which case it worked (well for me anyway).

As for your posts Lady E, you are entitled to them as much as I am entitled to mine - I tend to not take life too seriously and have a laugh whenever I can.

I may not agree with posting the subject matter on a public forum, but it's done and is now out in thepublic domain for consumption however we see fit.

Admittedly it was an embarassing scenario for the lass involved, but at the end of the day there are many more things to be getting upset about than this.

Slightly o/t but when I was a self employed car valeter back in 1996, I was called out once to clean a car by a man who had been driving his heavily pregnant daughter to the hospital when her waters had broken.

That took some work to clean up!

used small amount of Oxiclean or similar laundry additive to some warm water, used a sponge cloth, then dried with some kitchen towel, cleaned the seats a treat, and what my two kids can throw at the seats is way worse than anything mentioned in here so far!!

i used autoglym upholstery cleaner (spray bottle) and worked it in with a soft nailbrush, then good rub/rinse repeatedly with damp cotton cloth to take out the dirt and autoglym - came up a treat

Hmmmm Pink writing is offensive whilst making childish jokes about a woman who was on her Period isn’t? Go figure. Actually and this is purely for your edification, I use Pink lettering as it seemed to be a colour that nobody else would use and therefore it helps me to pick out my posts and read the new post that come thereafter. I personally dislike Pink as I am very fair skinned and it washes me out. It turned out the Loz, who joined around the same time as me, also had a similar idea and uses Pink too (she may indeed like the colour too however)

I don’t think I understand much of this bit??? As for the ‘don’t open a thing as you should know what is in it’ bit, well why not just post purely the Thread title and we can all understand the entire thing without even having to bother posting anything in it at all?

My belittling as you put it, was meant to be an ironic way of saying how offensive I find this thread and therefore avoid reporting the posts as offensive to the Mods (they may have agreed with either one of us, but I attempted to avoid this situation).

Now this thinly veiled attempt to hurt me is pathetic in the extreme (I am a 240lb body builder called Eric and have a full beard and 18 children from 6 wives Muppet!) Perhaps you are worried that a woman can know more about cars than you? has driven better cars than you, perhaps even has a better job than you, commanding a better salary? try the TESCO UPOLSTERY cleaner in the blue can. I know it works gettin blood off the seat as it has happened.

I got half way thru the second page and lost interest as this was gettin to be a bitchin session.
