Turtle wax upholstry foam... sprays on brushes out, works a treat on almost all stains, we use it at work all the time.

HTH

I can't believe noone has picked up on this before...

What was she doing away from the kitchen sink in the first place?

I'm colourblind as well.

maybe a female member might have a better idea than us?

She was probably having to attend to the hovering as it hadn’t been done for a few hours

Ok look, first of all thanks to all of you who have posted useful replies, and to Stevenh for diagnosing the original problem. I kinda hoped that "lady problem" was a good description without going in to too much detail, yes she was pregnant and it wasnt quite the waters it was the aftermath that escaped on the way HOME from the hospital. Some of you may have not wanted to know that, but what the hell it settles the argument as to the reason for my question. I have to wonder why so many of you who were quick to slate my post for being offensive, have actually returned to slate others who were offering suggestions or constructive comments, I would have thought it to be a bit like a TV programme, if its **** or if its offensive etc etc, simply dont watch it again...

I admit this may have been a bit of an oddball post, and I hold my hands up and bow my head in shame if it has caused offence, however it wasnt a case of trying to inject crudeness, or for that matter, arguments and insults into the forum, I was simply trying to be as descriptive as possible whilst being as discreet as possible, as I hoped that others MAY have experienced the same problem.

Perhaps that should be an end to this one. Suggestions all noted and appreciated.

Ok

Maybe I over reacted a little, it was the graphic consistancy bit which did for me really, but I am man enough to apologise......Sorry

And as my other half is in the family way I may be needing this advice myself soon, did you mange to shift it after. And I wasn't so much offended, more shocked I think

I do NOT understand why you could not say you had blood on the seat? Have you done a chemical analysis of the difference between average Male arterial blood, menstrual blood and the fluids of a pregnant woman? And when someone says we need MORE information! Well that set the tone for this thread I am afraid and the comment of ‘ws she Commando?’ was infantile to say the least.

I have no problems with you trying to seek advice on stain removal, but as was stated a few times, ‘why so much information dude?’ and I refer you to my earlier reasoning about bodily fluids in this matter.

I am a little puzzled about your comment of ‘’I hoped others MAY have experienced the same problem’ I kinda hope note personally.

But as you say, perhaps we should draw a vail over what to my eyes, is a distasteful thread (not so much offensive in this sense).

IMHO your ladyship has been a little bit too hard on poor whitebakecase. I cannot find his first post offensive or derogatory or sexist. OK "lady problem" maybe not the most carefully chosen wording but this is not a forum for literary criticism?

OP might have been a bit clumsy but not more than what ought to be pardonable. He should not be blamed for what followed - South Park references, Commando comments and so on. For some it is easy to laugh them off or just disregard them but if you've heard them too often (and I guess that women have to bear with that) you have good reason to be fed up wit them.

BTW I find it interesting that people seem to be more offended by a pretty straightforward reference to "female bodily fluids" than to bad jokes about the same?

I didn’t particularly find the ‘lady problem’ quote to be offensive, just a bit childish and I do not have any problem with the Whitebakecase, who as far as I know is a fine guy.

I think I really started to get a little saddened by ‘you know who’ and his excited comments that then followed. Having read through his earlier postings (I researched him through his profile.......you see, never cross a woman:mad::D) I found he seems to have had an argument with half the people on here, even though he doesn’t post that much. I don’t think I singled out WBC, as most of my posting referred to the slightly more (in my view) pathetic postings that followed and I am sure you know which ones those would be. The posters of these comments have in no way casused me to lose sleep, or made he start thumping my keyboard, but I do find that if a subjects come up and I feel the need to post on the matter I will. I tend to be more cutting than aggressive in these cases and try to avoid personal slurs and insults (I think referring to Enders as a Muppet was the first time I have done this, but having read through his posts I see one of the Mods called him one too:rofl:)

I haven't got a problem with the original post. The way it was written did lead people to jump to the conclusion that menstruation was the cause of the stain, and not post pregnancy discharge.

Dispite pregnancy and menstruation being a big part of life for the majority of women, Some people obviously find this a shocking or disgusting subject to talk about in public and others are quite clearly embarassed by it, leading to the 'humourous' posts following. So perhaps a little more tact could have been used.

I do however have a problem with the thread title.

As one of the afore mentioned 'women' I don't find the original post offensive but there have been a few follow up posts that haven't been too well thought out.

I do however have a problem with the thread title.

:iagree:

I can understand the urge to come up with something that attracts attention. But "Help! Stained seat!" would probably have been just as efficient.

Back onto the subject of stain removal , SWMBO was driving me in the Octy on Saturday.....

.....anyone know how to get rid of brown stains ?

...tried a pan cleaner but its feathered the velor..

...Can you put lyrca boxers on a boil wash?

This is a pretty accurate summation of how I feel (and Fluffy Bunnys comments too)

It was probably embarrassment that caused some of the ‘humorous’ posts, what followed in my case, then became a more personal disagreement with one individual.

Thats enough now, youve all made a point and i accept that maybe I should have chosen my words more carefully, but since my question has now been answered, can we not just leave it alone, the thought of seeing this thread updated in my inbox every day just acts as a reminder of "the day i posted that thread", and frankly I think this might be best left alone now!?

Thread has run its course and at a request is now closed.
