Hi all,

Just about to join you lot and order the following:-

Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDi 170bhp Vrs Estate

-Metallic black magic

-18" alloy wheels

-Jumbo centre box, Rear electric windows, Dual zone climate

-Cruise control

Cash price £17045

Deposit £1000

47 Monthly payments £270.40

Final payment £6245

APR 7.41

Does this sound like a decent deal??? Its through a one of the contract hire companies that do lease purchase options. I was going to contrct hire but this works out cheaper, especially as you can hand the car back after 3 years with no more to pay (so basically same as contract hire terms)

I would suggest yeas as it is a good £1500 less than DTD.

You may want to give palmers a call mate, speak to Dan as he gave Focusztec a cracking deal and also me and the missus.

You can get 5.5 apr from skoda themselfs. :)

It might even work out cheaper if you go down the PCP route with Skoda Finance.

Hi Austin vrs,

I think the car you want, or very similar has already been ordered and is sitting in SUK Group stock (see link below).

Basically Tim has been forced to cancel his order, but has been advised that if the dealer manages to sell the car, he can have his deposit back.

So, there's an opportunity here for everyone to be a winner if you contact the dealer in Mansfield. You don't have to wait for a new build, and potentially get a good deal, and hopefully Tim see's his deposit returned!

I understand from Tim that the Skoda PCP deal was extremely competetive.

Hope this helps.

Another thing you will need to bear in mind is that the deal you have stated on the first post is a 4 year pcp contract that you will be entered in to and not a 3 year plan as you expect.

I spent an a lot of time getting prices and pcp quotes and Skoda finance at 5.5% beat the rest.

Definitely worht investigating
