Good price for first service?

Featured Replies

Had my first variable service on my vRS TDI before Christmas - cost £165 which i think wasn't too bad. Although i since had to go back as they couldn't manage to reset the service interval correctly at the service.

Not a first service but a second variable one .... got it down to £240 as lowest VAG dealer price. Expensive business keeping your warranty valid !!!

My first service (10k miles) was about £80+VAT for my vRS SE, and that was at DM Keith Skoda in Ossett, Wakefield.

Is it possible to use any VAG dealership for Skoda servicing? (the nearest to me are SEAT and Volkswagon) and this would save me a 2hr+ round trip

Yes , no problems at all if they are happy to do it.

£180, but my car is not a VRS (2.0FSI). I don't know if that makes any difference to the servicing costs. Still seems an awful lot for an oil change.;)
