OEM Dog guard fitting instructions?

Recommended Posts

Probably got them somewhere, but it'll take me days to find them - I'm sure someone else will be quicker.

Basically, knock down the rear seats, remove the false floor, fit the bars to the 'U' shaped metal rings (DON'T USE THE SPLIT WASHERS) and refit the floor. Fit the removable guard with the thumbscrews, re-fit seats.

Let me know if this doesn't help, and no-one else has any, I'll try to find the instructions.

I have the fitting instruction leaflet beside me as I write! If you would like me to FAX it or send you a copy, let me know.

The fitting is a bit fiddly - the retaining brackets have a screw which has to be screwed up into the bottom of the bracket, and there is very little finger space between the bracket and the floor, as I remember.

I'm pretty sure it will. I fitted one to my 2010 face lift and used same part number for one which I then fitted to an 07 plate at work. The face lift was just that, a face lift, not much changed inside other than some of the dash.

Sarge.

The 03 an 07 models are completely different cars...an 07> WILL fit an <03 WON'T fit.

Yeah, i'd go with that. Don't hold me too it, but can see any reason why the MkII version wouldn't fit in ANY MkII. The MkIII is coming out shortly, and it's called that for a reason cos there weren't many changes between the last two variants.
