It'll be the one from the Seat Leon Cupra-R..... They fit on the Fabia and the Octy I with a little trimming. Get them from your local Seat dealer.

Good luck with the plates by the way...... Coming from the person who get's stopped by the coppers for having his front fogs on by accident after cleaning the dash and accidently switching them on without knowing!!!!! Not in the current car i might add.

45mins by yourself, easy peasy, with a mate about 10-15 mins

I've had several police vehicles behind me also which have never pulled me over for them.

They look smart - I had similar style plates on my Fabia VRS for a while, the no plate surround finished the job off nicely

I like the front number plate surround mate, looks the business on a black fabia.

Wouldn't risk it now on my car. I'm blacklisted as a "plate spacer" with the law following a couple of talkings to, and a £30 fine. So now I'm on legal black plate, and "legal" front plate which I think is fine, but not sure how the old bill view it? Not been talked to about it yet though.

Tbh i think it will be fine, There is no D band etc so i dont think they will bother me and if they do i have the standards in the boot,

I rarely have coppers on my back bumper too. And its a fabia its not a stand out look at me car like a corsa or saxo

Surprised at that. The government MOT test specifies:

Registration plate - condition, security, legibility and format of letters/numbers

Not surprised by that - my first thought would be 'foreign car' due to the plate type - especially with the surrounds on, so I guess that might be the first thing the police would think at quick glance.

I would like some european style plates as well, but can't decide whether to risk it. I've been at the "click to check out" point about 5 times on Dubmeister!

I toyed with getting some when i had the Polo GTi but never bothered cos i'm the person who'd get pulled just driving out the end of my road!!!!!

I do keep wanting to get a set of the old black & silver plates, It being a black car, for if i ever take the car to another show like VW Festival etc....... And just stick 'em on when i get there.
