I am a little angry

Featured Replies

You and me both! Mine came from Towsure and as there is 'Type Approval' on towing brackets these days and you just can't just knock one up out of any scrap you have kicking around, then I should think that its ok.

Mines a Tow-Quipe one (from ebay). Funnily enough when I was removing the original crash bar, one of the 6 bolts (for holding the proper bar on) which are only spot welded on fell off..... So that makes me think mine is more secure.... :-) ALthough I do wonder as the way it mounts it means any impact from the rear is push down the side of the car (as there are long mounting arms that go down towards the rear wheel arches) , rather than just straight across the back.
