hello! my steering lock on my felica wont let me put my key in the ignition! how do i get it it????? thanks for any help asap!

Hiya mate.

Is the key just not going in, or going in and not turning? Don't try and force the key whilst doing either of the following!!

In the first place, try squirting some WD40 down it; use the plastic tube if you've got it.

In the second, I'd guess the steering lock has set. Put the key in, and try to turn it whilst rattling the steering wheel sideways.

I take this is a facelift felicia?

Could be the lock cover is not retracting fully-get a small screwdiver and push it along...

I had this problem, no matter what I tried the key wouldn't go in. I ended up having to grind the steering lock off and getting another one from the scrapyard. Remember to change the transponders over in the keys or the bloody thing won't start.
