Totally over the moon with these guys. Picking up my Octavia VRS today (in about an hour actually!) and sorted my insurance out yesterday.

Previously owned a Ford Focus 1.8 and paid £670 for the year with Greenlight. Went to them for a quote on the Octy and they said they don't insure them!

Cheapest quote i could get was with Direct Line at £690. Only twenty quid more than on my Focus which was nice but they are not too mod friendly.

Made a few other phonecalls before finally landing on Chris Knott who offered it for £629! Well chuffed with that so a huge thanks to them. Had a great chat with the bloke on the phone, who fully understood cars and mods etc and was more than happy to beat my cheapest quote by far.

Thanks, yes I am! Found it on Monday and been like a kid until i get to pick it up. So impressed with everything about it, from the looks to the room inside (I'm 6'4" so room is valuable to me!).

Unfortunately all the insurers told me my age counted against me (I'm 23 with 2 years no claims) and used that to bump the price up. But Chris Knott took other factors apart from my age into consideration and came up with the best quote by miles.

Chris Knott managed to knock about £50 off my current insurance price of £320. I just have a diesel octavia not a VRS or anything so that was pretty good going and about £70 less than other quotes I had.
