faults found on octavia vrs?????

Featured Replies

I had my octavia vrs plugged into the vag-com for the very first time today and it came up with 3 faults which we seemed to have cleared but do i need to book it in to a garage for further work?

fault 1- 16502- engine coolant temp sensor(g60) signal to high.

fault 2- 17834- EVAP purge valve(n80) open circuit.

fault 3- 16727- camshaft position sensor(g40) signal to high

many thanks

The first one is an easy one and will just need a coolant temp sensor and you can change that in a few minutes.

As for the rest errrr ill let someone else tell you about them

Same as matt, temp; sender should be a green topped one and not black...as for others they may change after temp sender replacement. Recheck on vag-com as they may not reappear

we did clear all the faults and did check them again after a quick run round the block. will check again in a few days.

are the engine coolant temp sensors expensive and do i get them from skoda only?

cheers

You're welcome.

As for the fault codes well tonight was the temp sender again.

The car is booked in at JKM's for next week so hopefully they can sort it all out.
