fiat bravo 150 m-jet sport remap...

Featured Replies

after comming across this, I'm getting tempted to trade in the GP for a bravo next time!

the car had only done 2,000 miles, and the mapper said it was still a bit tight... after running in, should go over the 200bhp mark!

200 bhp diesel hot hatch anyone?!

note: the poster states this is the engine they use in the astra 888, is this right? I know its the one (same type as mine) that they use in the 150bhp vectra.....

Not sure how the Bravo compares to GP but compared to a Focus feels very low rent:thumbdwn:

Infact I didn't find anything I did like on the Bravo.

I haven't test driven one, so I'd have no idea, It won when tested against the focus on 5th gear though, mostly because it was just as good, but £1500 cheaper....

I've driven many focus's in my time, and yeah they perform well, and are a nice drive, but when I was at the AA, I was given three new ones in 4 months, as they ALL broke down  plus, they don't make anything with the perfomance (150bhp diesel) and style as the bravo, at anywhere near the cost......

The Bravo feels £1500 cheaper... The Focus is a better family car, easier to get kids in and out of and a better size and shape boot.

I agree the lack of a high performance diesel is definitely an over sight by Ford just hope they realise this sooner rather than later.

As for styling the Bravo does look like a GP thats been on the pies, I much prefer the GP which from the front looks abit like a baby Aston IMO :D

 I'll use that quote next time in in the local garage... "a Grande Punto on pies.." lol... reasonably accurate discription ;)

Yeah I think it sums it up nicely, but I can't take credit for it... :D

So true, and it has a windows logo on it.

Not a nice drive IMHO and I hate hate hate the steering. I didn't like the puntos light steering but the bravo is IMHO even lighter

Brakes don't seem to have much feel either, it has the stupid and pointless cornering fog lights as well:thumbdwn:

whats the difference between an J jet and an M jet?

k:)

As I understand it, it refers to how the fuel is injected. J is Unijet, M is Multijet....

Chris

Wrote some rubbish - ignore...

is one better than the other?

k:)

No idea, but the brakes are indeed like planks of wood.
