Smivs saying Hi!

Featured Replies

Hi, folks; thought it was about time I introduced myself properly! I've been logging on to this site since last Summer, when I bought a Felicia 1.3 GLi Estate off eBay, but not being very computer minded, didn't really know how to do this intro. stuff.

Anyway, bought the car, travelled all the way from Norfolk to South Wales to collect it,; it is a replacement for my wife's old Favorit which, although rusty, was still going strong when we sold it on for £80.

I really like the car, despite a vandal having keyed three panels before I bought it! It makes a change from the Focus I drive every day to work. I like the fact that I can get my hands dirty, because it's a car you can actually work on, and at the same time save money by not being ripped off at a garage.

I enjoy reading the posts; a lot of you guys have a great sense of humour!

Greetings, hope you enjoy your car:)

Hello, and welcome.

You will also find that a lot of members have no sense of humour, and indeed some have no sense at all.:)

...and some who don't even have members:D

And some members that have members, are BIG members....

It's 7. 50 a.m. I've just read your greetings - thanks, they have put a smile on my face before going to work! Have a nice day everyone!

Hi and welcome

I really like the car... It makes a change from the Focus I drive every day to work.

I liked that :D guess that quite a few Felly owners share that feeling. You drive a car that makes you constantly aware of wheels rolling, engine turning... and somewhere at the back of your head the question "How long will it last?". More modern cars (like SWMBO's Octavia) are just transport machines with no soul...
