What front brakes

Featured Replies

I've got to replace the front discs.

I don't want really fancy carbon:ceramic go faster doohickies, just normal(ish) maybe drilled/grooved......

Any suggestions/recommendations.

I bought the Mintex sets of ebay. Done me well till now.

standard discs with uprated pads, but theyre getting expensive to get some good pads now.

I've always opted for standard discs and uprated pads in the past, unless you plan some track days.

Standard or grooved discs. Don't bother with cross-drilled; they have cracking issues.

Fast road pads, but not Green Stuff; this has been implicated in way too many cases of disc warping for my (and some of the sponsors') liking.

I like the ZeroSixty grooved discs and Mintex Extreme fast road pads that I have have fitted. Best stopping I've encountered in my (very limited) experience!

I'll get some of the Mintex ones then.

They're up on ebay, seem a sensible price and its easier to use than GSF.

Thanks guys.

GSF have no mintex extremes left when i tried to order from them other day.

id order soon as the impression i got is there aint many left out there.
