2 questions about removing steering wheel and back seat.

Featured Replies

As the title says. I cant see how to remove the steering wheel and i also cant see how to remove the back rest of the rear seat. Any help or advice on either will be much appreciated.

Not to sure on steering wheel but the rear seat i can help.Fold the rear part down and look at the end closest to the ouside of the car there will be a metal lug that it drops into.In this you will see a piece of metal with a small cutout in it.You need to put a large screwdriver in this slot and push it backwards(towards the boot),as it moves backwards the seat will come up slightly and will release. You need to pull the seat towards you to get it out of the centre pivot.

Is this any good?

Cheers mate:thumbup: I found the the sliding lugs on either end of the seat this afternoon, but it looked like there was a bar running through the centre pivot? Do i assume that i just get a bit more aggresive and pull the seats further forward to release then? I'm a bit ham fisted and dont want to break the car:D
