312mm disc upgrade

Featured Replies

Im Looking into the upgrade next month just im looking at using brake diamond discs and pads with the tt calipers. 1st is this possible and also it there any specific type or model of calipers i need because iv been lookin at calipers off a 2000 model 225? is this wat i need ?

Yes. '00 225 TT will do fine!

Got myself a nice 312 kit from the 225 TT a week ago. I am going to be fitting it soon and wanted to ask about the brake hoses. Do I need them from the TT or mine will do the job?

Both will fit, TT's are a little longer. The standard hoses do fit ok, they are a touch tighter than standard but still acceptable.

you will need the pad carriers too

Pad carriers?

Good kit, single source for everything (apart from fluid), well priced, works well too.

What type of fluid can you recommend for this set? For road use 95% of the time...

either halfrauds dot 5.1,or super dot 4.1 either will do:D

Will they fit inside the stock Fabia VRS wheels??

Yes! :)

yes they fit without changing the standard vrs wheels which is why its such a common upgrade

normal dot 4 brake should be ok for everyday road use

Yes! :)

Nice! I'd like to do the upgrade when the time comes as my Octavia VRS has absolutely fantastic stoppers!! Would like the Fabia to stop just as well!
