Same engine and on regular dialy runs of 50 miles ,including traffic , i can get between 52 and 60 mpg , in actual fact the mpg seems a little better when pushed in 6 th gear . Do make sure you have a good clean air filter as i have noticed this improves after every service .

I think it's finally sorted. ARB bushes replaced by Chapmans of Pickering today

ARB bushes are very common to fail - they become egg-shaped. When the dealer was under the car checking the suspension they should have checked ARB too. Pretty poor service I whould I have thought. I replaced mine at about 90k (iirc).

Rad mounts and ARB are probably the most two common causes for noises from the fromt of the car (apart from cats, etc stuck in the wheel arches!)
